1. I have an M80 that I’m trying to date. Serial number is 12977. Some Guild date charts put that number in 1960, but I don’t think that’s correct – they didn’t make M80’s back then, right? With the date I’m looking for a value range. The finish is absolute trash & the frets are terrible so a refinish & refret is needed. Otherwise the guitar is solid, no breaks, cracks, repairs or replaced parts. Any guidance?
