A freind of my Mother's asked her to ask me to take pictures of the ceiling in thier local Catholic church. This ceiling was hand painted by nuns over a hundred years ago as I understand it. I took close up shots of the detail sections. Some of them I could not get directly under due to the normal constraints of being in a church (I couldn't stand on the altar for example). Also shown here are the stained glass windows and the main statue in the back of the church.
