Cosette comes home at last!

This is our little Cozy at the breeders, all bathed and smelling sweet. What a little angel. She loved us to death until she realized we were taking her away from her world. She got a little nervous and whimpered a little, but she was a trooper. This by the way, is perhaps the last time she was ever this clean.

Cosette sat in the back with her new mommy and was very good the whole trip. She only whimpered a few times, and sat with her head on my wife's lap. Who could resist a face like this?

As soon as we got out of the car we started to play. What fun to have a house with a Newfie in it. Suddenly the yard is a fun place, not just someplace to mow. Of course not it's riddled with land mines, but hey, that's all part of the fun.

Here the darling Cosette enjoys her first chew-toy. Of course this isn't all she chews on...

I just couldn't get over the size of her paws. I know everyone with a big dog says that, but Wow! Look at those paws!

As soon as she started feeling a little stressed, she picked out her favorite spot. This is her lying behind the sofa on the cool tile floor, with her legs stuck straight out behind her. Doesn't look too comfortable to me, but then I'm not a Newfie. This isn't the best picture in the world, but I had to throw it in.

Ahh, our little sleeping angel. She hard a hard day after all. It's hard to imagine the adventures of tomorrow. Stay tuned.

Thus endeth this installment of the Newf puppy page.
